As if that wasn’t enough, Carla has also released a best selling books such as, ‘Feeding Your Skin,’ and, ‘The Beauty Chef,’ which are packed with delicious recipes and information which utilise her innovative products.

The formation of Beauty Chef was a result of Carla’s personal journey with her and her family’s skin. As a teen Carla has troubled skin suffering from irritating eczema and allergies. Eventually her mother took her to see a naturopath and it was only when she altered her diet did her skin begin to clear. This cultivated Carla’s philosophy that, “beauty begins in the belly.” Without a proper diet, the body doesn’t have all the right nutrients needed to produce glowing healthy skin.

Her next big discovery was when her own teenage daughters began to experience the similar problematic skin as she had experience during her adolescence. It was during this time Carla decided to put her family on a probiotic, lacto-fermented wholefoods diet. Her daughters’ skin cleared up and Carla was receiving compliments from friends about her fresh glowing skin.
